I have gatherings in my apt ever so often and it works well for that purpose. The design also completes the atmosphere of my common area. There is more than enough storage. However I am nervous that overtime the surface will warp or develop chips. All in all for the price it's an attractive piece and functional piece of furniture.

I haven't used it yet, but regardless if it were to have any flaws I think I would not mind at all. Awesome design and perfect size for an apartment for my future guest to enjoy.

Eversince I purchased my new soda fountain bar I been at ease. Not only I loved the modern look, it was very easy to assemble. I find it great for parties and family gatherings. Delivery very prompt but arrived damaged by delivery company or warehouse. Top & bottom chrome strips were broken off or cracked or missing in 3 sections. I do not blame the company. I liked the item so much that I did not send it back and also I needed it for the holidays. InsteadI taped up the areas affected.

Stools came in perfect condition & were very easy to build. Actually I am going to purchase two more today. I love the bar for its elegant design & easy put together construction. Too bad the chrome strips on the top & the bottom were damaged [...] and I had to fix them and tape them back in place. Did not want to send it back because I intended to use it for the holidays & I was very satisfied with the product.

I have a retro theme to my dining room and this fit in perfectly. It's lovely to look at but not the sturdiest construction, so we put it in a corner where it can really shine. Warning: The counter top is susceptible to stains, especially from liquid items, so I would recommend painting a protective coating onto it if you're planning to serve drinks from the bar.

Very pleased with sturdy construction. Like the finish and the amount of storage behind. Also a good height. Two front panels didn't line up (perhaps misplaced holes for screws?) and so there is a bit of a lip from top to bottom panel on the front face of the bar. Otherwise, solid product overall.

We purchased the home bar for our vacation home, its size and height are perfect for the space. The design is simple and clean, the chrome trim adds retro and somewhat modern touch to it, looking very nice with our comtemporary furnitures. it doesn't take much space but provides enough counter space for several people gathering. The construction is ok, some premade screw holes are not at same height causing the boards uneven after put on. [...] We have not used it yet, so not know how the counter top would work while water & liquid got onto it. Overall, it's a good value given the price.

Service & Delivery comments:

It was backordered, so took a while to have it delivered. But Mercantila has sent us several emails keeping us informed of the status. The product arrived in good condition from outside, but the counter top did have a small dent/crack after we opened the packaging, the manufacturer should put more cushion material to cover/protect the counter top in package. Mercantila's customer service is 5 stars, always answered my questions within 3 hours. We are very satisfied with Mercantila's service and will buy from you again.
