When I told my husband that I was going to purchase this wine rack as his 42nd anniversary present, he balked. He was sure it would be a disappointment. Not true!!! I still am assembling the rack -- it's easy, but I'm slow -- so we haven't used it yet. But it is clear to both of us that the wine rack is a winner. I had read the reviews on this product in various places online before purchasing! I must say that it doesn't 'wow' you in pictures as much as it does in person though! The product arrived, and it was every bit as 'great' in person as the online reviews had said it would be! The item, when put together is very sturdy & we love the fact that we can adapt it to fit absolutely anywhere! We had a dead, unattractive space in our kitchen, a built-in desk we didn't use. The wine rack fits PERFECTLY under the desk and the "natural" finish matches our maple cabinets PERFECTLY. Everyone who sees it thinks it is part of the built-in design of our custom cabinets! When I first opened the box, it looked like a tinker toy set. But when I put it together, I was amazed at how sturdy it is! Not only does the rack look great, it freed up a lot of storage space in our cupboards, where we stored our red wines. I love my wine rack!

Fairly easy assembly - a large rubber mallet works best. Multiple kits can be connected to increase capacity. Design is very flexible and adapts to your space limitations. I own four sets and will probably add more!

Doesn't my headline say it all. The first one I purchased 15 years ago. I used it behind my bar. We moved. I converted it for use in my kitchen in a lower cabinet. Then I built a bar in my "man cave", bought another rack, combined it with the old rack (fit perfectly) and now use it in my wine closet. On top of all that, the price was right.

Maybe a chalenge: assembly. You WILL need a big rubber mallet and a solid worktable (or concrete floor) with a piece of corrugated cardboard as a pad to prevent scratching your rack or work surface. Scrupulously follow the sequence of steps in the instructions

We wanted three wine racks to fit underneath a bench in our storage challenged house. The flexibility of the system allowed us to make a perfect fit.

To save money we purchased the unfinished wood version and spray lacquered all the components before assembling them. I had a plastic head mallet which was perfect for the job and we are very happy with the result.
