The best way to really know what you're getting is to read the reviews here. The product is quite accurately advertised and the downside I read about (assembly difficulty) was right on the money. The product comes in a million little pieces, but overall is not so bad to put together. You just need patience. Also, it seems that it's pretty common to have a screw missing or something else you might need. This was the case with us and we'll have to get the screw at the hardware store. No big deal.
Otherwise, I am pretty impressed. The wine cart is very attractive and modern looking. The space saving I get is awesome. It looks better than I thought. Pretty sturdy from what I can see. A couple of things to keep in mind. The stainless steel top is not so easy to keep clean (LOTS of wiping). I would not use any cleaners when wiping down the outside of the cabinets. Maybe a damp cloth. I think the laquer will start coming off if you do.

I use the island in my small kitchen to prepare food, store wine and for extra seating when entertaining. It is not only an attractive design but a useful piece of furniture that will stand on it's own. As my daughter and I began to assemble the island, we were happy to see that all parts were labeled with a number or alphabet which made assembly a breeze. The only con that I have is when I put a regular size bottle of wine in the rack for storage and move the island from place to place, the bottles rattle so I might look into glueing that part together. Other than that I love it very much. thank you for having such a great product for a reasonable price.

I love my new wine cart. It look so good in my kitchen. Great storage for my pans and bowels that I use often. Not so crazy about the knife holder, slots are to large cause knifes to shift around. I had a hard time with assembly, but l love it! The wood is beautiful.

This is far better than the dozens I looked at in the store.... they were more expensive, smaller, and of poor construction. I was hesitant about ordering on line... but my goodness what a plesant surprise.... I have had tons of compliments on this island... it rolls anywhere and then you can lock the wheels for saftey...the front of the island is really nice... and the back side is finished so that you don't mind it being shown... For the $ you can't go wrong with this island.... only bad thing.... nightmare to put together....We had to lay the pieces out in a two car garage..we had to post it note EVERYTHING it was a mess.... I chose to leave the Knife block and the Paper towel holder off mine... I do not like knives sitting out.. and didn't the need the paper towel holder....

Color is a medium dark cherry which fits well with our slightly darker cherry cabinets. Stainless steel work surface is actually 44-1/2X21 inches. Length in description is total length. Unlike many islands I've seen which are too large, this is a very convenient size and height if you are looking to have an additional work area. It is not suitable as an eating area. Assembly problems: Hinges in assembly diagram are reversed; one pilot hole for hinge was slightly off; and one of the router grooves for holding a plywood panel was not deep enough on one end-I had to use a gouge to deepen it.
